In a bid to support first-year Birifor students, BNUTS has launched a nationwide academic mentorship program pairing senior students with juniors across 8 institutions. The initiative aims to improve retention, build confidence, and foster peer learning.
“Education is our collective responsibility,” said Amos Kuudeerma Kador, BNUTS President. “This program ensures no Birifor student walks alone.”
Full story coming soonThe inaugural BNUTS Birifor Language & Culture Workshop held at UDS-Nyankpala brought together over 120 students from 5 campuses. Participants learned basic phrases, traditional songs, and the importance of linguistic preservation in academic spaces.
Plans are underway to host the event quarterly at rotating campuses.

“This is a win for every Birifor girl with a dream,” Victoria said.
