The Birifor National Union of Tertiary Students (BNUTS) was officially established in February 2023 as a unifying and representative body for all Birifor students enrolled in tertiary institutions across Ghana and beyond. Born out of a vision to amplify the voice and presence of Birifor students in higher education, the Union was spearheaded by Mr. Benjamin Sande, whose foresight recognized the critical need for collective representation and purposeful engagement.
BNUTS was formed through the collaborative efforts of pioneering students from diverse academic institutions including universities, teacher training colleges, nursing schools, and technical universities, who shared a common goal: to uplift the Birifor identity while fostering academic excellence and unity among members.
